About Me
I started my medical career in 2007 at Kaiser Permanente’s Westminster Medical Offices in the Family Medicine department. After four years, I decided to pursue my true passion in sports medicine and completed a fellowship at the University of New Mexico, where I stayed on for another five years as faculty, teaching sports medicine to fellows, residents and medical students. I was privileged to work with the university’s athletic teams as one of the primary care team doctors and was able to see high-level athletes as patients. When an opportunity to come back to Colorado and work with Kaiser Permanente presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity. I’m excited to be back and look forward to treating the musculoskeletal problems of patients at all levels of athletic abilities.
About my practice
My goal is to get people back to doing the things they love. I love working with the musculoskeletal system. I specialize in non-surgical treatment of acute and chronic injuries. I do a variety of injections, some with the assistance of ultrasound guidance. I feel that my best tool is the ability to listen and educate. I work hard to educate my patients about what's wrong and options for them to get better that suit their lifestyle.
How I thrive
I fully embrace the Colorado lifestyle of getting outdoors. If I'm not working, you'll find me outside. Whether it's running, cycling, hiking or fly-fishing, I love what this state has to offer. My family drives all my decisions and grounds me. I have a wife and three kids and we suffer no shortage of vitamin D, especially in the summer!
