About Me

MY PANEL IS ALWAYS OPEN TO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 10 AND PRENATAL PATIENTS. I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I look forward to working on your health goals and concerns with you.

Biography

I was born on the island of Hawaii, which I still visit regularly. My family is the biggest part of my life. I have a wonderful wife and two growing children, as well as two dogs (Labrador Retrievers, yellow and black), who all keep me busy. My love of family nurtured my interest in becoming a family practitioner who takes care of everyone, from infants to adults.

About my practice

I believe in communication. Our visits together will be collaborative discussions on how we can maintain the status quo or how we can make things better. My nurses and ancillary staff all work together to provide you with a support system that will help you be the best you can be. I am excited to serve as the San Diego family medicine residency’s first program director. I also hold an appointment from UC San Diego’s department of family and preventive medicine as an assistant clinical professor.

How I thrive

I like to practice what I preach, which is why you may find me running next to you at the local park or gym. I will also be the one trying to pick out the fresh fruits and veggies at the local farmer’s market. My own journey in health is full of experiences that I hope I can pass on to you.
