About Me

I was born and raised in the Midwest (Illinois and Michigan) and moved to the South after high school to attend the University of North Carolina. My parents and two sisters had also just moved to Raleigh, N.C., which is where they still live. After attending UNC, I moved to Atlanta and started my medical career.

About my practice

My most basic philosophy is that when someone is not feeling well and they seek help from their doctor, their visit should be about them and their needs, not the doctor and the practice. I have found that if you listen to people tell their story and what they are going through, the medical issues naturally emerge and can be dealt with in the best possible way.In the office, I mostly see members living with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I also see members with unexplained shortness of breath, cough and less common conditions like sarcoidosis and interstitial lung disease.

How I thrive

I am an avid soccer player (when I am not nursing an injury). Since entering my forties, I have started to work harder at eating right and keeping a good work-life balance. My wife has even dragged me to a few yoga sessions, which I actually enjoyed!
