About Me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I have always had a love for science and how things work so I decided that a career in medicine would be a good fit for me.

About my practice

I never envisioned myself as an obstetrician/gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) physician, so I put off the Obstetrics and Gynecology class in medical school until the very end. However, when I went out into the field and saw the encountered happy providers and invested patients, I knew that Ob/Gyn medicine was the specialty for me. My philosophy of care is to do what is best for my patient. I am grateful to work with the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group due to the tremendous amount of support I have been given by my colleagues. I have worked with Kaiser Permanente for over twenty years and I still enjoy every day. In addition to working in the clinic, performing surgery, and delivering babies, I also instruct resident doctors as an associate clinical professor at UC San Francisco as well as an assistant clinical professor at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

How I thrive

I stay active by running around trying to keep up with my kids. I enjoy spending time with family and friends going hiking as well as paddling. I also have a passion for photography.
