About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and moved to Los Angeles with my family in 1998. My last two years of high school were spent at Santa Monica High, which I enjoyed. I completed my undergraduate degree at UCLA, attended the Charles Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program, and did an internal medicine residency program at the Cedars-Sinai and West Los Angeles Veterans Administration medical centers. I joined Kaiser Permanente after completing my residency. Kaiser Permanente has truly helped my family maintain their health, and I hope to do the same for others.

About my practice

I work as a hospitalist, which means my practice consists of taking care of members when they are admitted to the hospital It gives me great pleasure to help people when they are in need of acute medical interventions, and I get huge satisfaction when they get well enough to be discharged from the hospital to carry on with life.

How I thrive

I love to try various vegetarian restaurants, as well as attempt to cook some of the dishes. I try to spend a great deal of time with my friends and extended family, who are so caring and help revive my energy and soul.
