Biography

I was born in Armenia and moved to the United States with my family when I was 12 years old. I attended UCLA Medical School, graduating with high honors. I then completed my ophthalmology residency at Harvard, followed by a cornea fellowship at UCLA Medical Center. During my training, I worked in clinical and basic science research, focusing on the field of infectious diseases of the eye. I also participated in international health projects in Ecuador and India.

About my practice

I am an ophthalmologist specializing in anterior segment surgery. I am interested in disorders of the eye surface, cornea, and lens. My surgical practice involves cataract surgeries, including specialty lens implants, as well as corneal transplantation.

How I thrive

I try to have a balanced life, which involves spending time with my family and friends. I like to travel and learn about different cultures and languages. My experiences outside of work ultimately help me provide better care for members.
