About Me

I am from Stockholm, Sweden, and moved to the U.S. in 1993. Prior to earning my medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, I worked as a nurse in Sweden. I completed my residency and internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago as well as Northwestern University. I am married and we have two daughters but the rest of my family are in Sweden. I speak Swedish, English, and some very basic German and French.

About my practice

Board certified in family medicine, I'm a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. I prefer to think of the patient-doctor relationship as a partnership. Both partners have to be invested in the relationship and there has to be trust.

How I thrive

I love tennis, skiing, family time, hiking and travel.
