About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page. I’m an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy. I mostly treat injuries of the knee and shoulder.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California and feel very privileged to be able to practice orthopaedics close to where I grew up. I completed my undergraduate and medical school degrees at USC and then went on to finish my residency training at the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program. I feel fortunate to have completed my sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. My wife is a California native, and we enjoy everything Orange County has to offer.

About my practice

I mostly treat injuries related to the knee and shoulder. I also have special training with ulnar collateral ligament reconstructions also known as the Tommy John procedure, and help athletes return to competition after elbow injuries. Having played tennis at an elite level and even competing in the U.S. Open, I have a great appreciation of injuries that affect athletes. A unique interest of mine is with hip arthroscopy and treating pre-arthritic hip conditions. Every day I go to work, I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing group of orthopaedic surgeons and staff.

How I thrive

I enjoy playing tennis and golf in my free time. My wife and I also like to enjoy the outdoors with our dog and try out recipes from our favorite chefs.
