About Me
Hello! I’m glad to have this chance to share a little bit about myself with you. Thank you for visiting my Web page.
Biography
I grew up in Southern California and have lived here all my life, except for a few years spent in the Bay Area for college. I returned here to go to medical school in San Diego and do my residency at UCLA. I have two daughters and a son. The kids keep me busy and take up most of my free time. I really enjoy being a parent. They have helped me be a better pediatrician, and they keep me on my toes!
About my practice
I have been practicing with Kaiser Permanente for over 15 years. It has been wonderful to work with so many caring, qualified physicians and other staff members. I believe that my job as a pediatrician is to take care of the whole child and communicate well with his or her family. I enjoy my work tremendously and have learned so much from our members.
How I thrive
It’s hard to maintain balance and perspective when life gets busy and stressful. I tell my patients to eat well and exercise, but I know how difficult that can be even for myself! Setting small goals helps keep things from getting overwhelming. I enjoy time spent with my family, being involved in my kids’ schools and activities, relaxing at home, and trying to squeeze in time to exercise at the gym. I’m still working on that last one!
