About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I enjoy my colleagues and patients. I look forward to working with you to care for your pain condition.
Biography
I attended medical school and completed most of my residency training on the East Coast, but I always consider Southern California my home—it is where I grew up and attended college. I am the second generation in my family fortunate enough to enter medicine as a profession, with my father, a family doctor, as my role model.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge but also listening and responding to patients' own descriptions of their needs. Being a doctor allows people to share with me some of their deepest, most personal concerns; it is a privilege to help patients more fully understand their medical conditions, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family. I was trained in the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation and sub-specialize in pain management with emphasis on interventional spine procedures.
How I thrive
I believe that having a positive attitude and outlook on life will help me to overcome any obstacle. In my medical practice I always try to convey this belief to my patients, especially those with a chronic pain condition, in helping them to cope.
