About Me

Hi and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I emigrated from India in 1997 to pursue medicine in the United States. I knew all along that I wanted to be a gastroenterologist and I worked hard to achieve that goal. As I learn more about the GI tract and the liver, it continues to fascinate me. We have two beautiful kids and outside of work I love to spend all my time with them, whether it is biking along the coast or just watching TV.

About my practice

I feel very fortunate in being a physician as it gives me a chance to connect to people and to know about their inner concerns and feelings. I feel privileged if I can do something to help them. I do love to teach as well. I enjoy teaching the practices and principles of gastroenterology to medical students and doctors in training at USC.

How I thrive

I thrive on optimism and spending time with my family.
