About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I appreciate your taking the time to learn a little about me.

Biography

I moved often as a child, but the majority of my childhood was spent in San Diego, where I completed high school. I went on to UC Berkeley on a Regent’s Scholarship and studied biochemistry. I returned to Southern California, where I completed medical school at USC. I decided that Los Angeles would be great for another six years and did my urology residency with Kaiser Permanente at the Los Angeles Medical Center. At this time, I developed an interest in pediatric urology and went to the Hoosier state (Indiana) for a two-year fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children (Indiana University) in Indianapolis, where I learned pediatric urologic surgery.

About my practice

I practice almost all aspects of pediatric urology, from the medical management of pediatric urology problems to complex urinary tract reconstructive surgery. My team and I take pride in being kind, friendly, and detail oriented. I believe in taking the time to make sure that you understand the problem that your child may have and how we can do our best to fix it.

How I thrive

My lovely wife and two sons help me to thrive in my everyday life. On any given Sunday morning, you can find me with some of my friends mountain biking on some of the great trails that we have available to us almost year round in San Diego.
