About Me

Welcome to my Web page! Allow me to introduce myself to you and your family. At the Kaiser Permanente Temecula Medical Offices Pediatrics Department, we aim to provide your family with compassionate pediatric health care.

Biography

I grew up in a multicultural environment in the Chicago area. I graduated with bachelor's degrees in anatomical sciences (magna cum laude) and mechanical engineering (high honors) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I worked for Ford Motor Company for a couple of years, and realized the human body was a much more wonderfully made and fascinating machine worthy of study than man-made machinery. I went back to school and earned my medical degree in 1995, at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In medical school, I discovered my love for working with children, and did my pediatrics residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital. I have been a general pediatrician since 1998, and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007.

About my practice

Our team strives to provide the best possible pediatric care, and also help teach children and young adults to lead healthy lifestyles that will enable them to enjoy life to the fullest. Our holistic approach to care is geared towards keeping our patients healthy physically, socially, and emotionally.

How I thrive

I believe firmly in practicing what I preach about staying healthy. I enjoy running and playing basketball with my boys. We also participate actively in church and community activities, and treasure our time together as a family. My wife is a fantastic cook and fanatically healthy eater, and she is the main reason that I eat a healthy diet.
