About Me

Hello! I am very excited to use this Web page to introduce myself. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente as an orthopedic surgeon, as I feel that our team approach to health care allows me to deliver the best possible care to each of my patients.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian, born and raised in the Pasadena area. I attended UCLA for both my undergraduate and medical school education prior to making the long move to Orange County, where I completed an orthopedic surgery residency at UC Irvine. Following residency, I tested my UCLA Bruin loyalty and completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at USC! I am a second-generation Kaiser Permanente physician, my father having enjoyed a more than 35-year career in pediatrics. I enjoy sports of all kinds, especially snow skiing and beach volleyball. I take great pride in trying to cook delicious meals for my beautiful wife, friends, and family.

About my practice

I specialize in shoulder and knee surgery with particular concentration on arthroscopic management of problems in these two areas. In addition, I focus on the treatment of complex shoulder disorders. I feel that an open line of communication with my patients and getting to know their interests and goals personally is an important part of treating their orthopedic conditions. I always try to ensure that my patients have all of their questions answered and that they truly understand how together we can best get them back to their desired activities.

How I thrive

I believe maintaining a well-balanced, active lifestyle is the key to a happy life. I think exercise, good nutrition, and massages are important elements of overall well-being. I also believe that you can only truly be balanced by making and maintaining wonderful relationships with friends and family!
