About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

When you come to see me at the office, it will probably be obvious that my roots are in Ireland. My family is all Irish and, in fact, I did a majority of my medical training in Dublin. I studied at a world-famous Dublin hospital called the National Maternity Hospital. I’m very supportive of midwives, who, by the way, were responsible for a lot of my training in Ireland. I went to UCLA for college, and attended the National University of Ireland in Dublin for my medical training. I did my Ob/Gyn residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

About my practice

I am a board-certified Ob/Gyn who joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003. My main office is currently in our new Anaheim Kramer Medical Offices. I operate at both our Kramer and Irvine locations. I have an interest in minimally invasive surgery, vaginal surgery, and urogynecology. As an Ob/Gyn, I have a special interest in helping to manage members with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. While in residency, I did specific training in this field, and have also done research and published in the field of urogynecology. I’m also interested in general gynecology and take care of our obstetric members.

How I thrive

I stay fit by going to the gym nearly every day—often on my lunch break. I used to be a competitive body builder years ago. I enjoy surfing, upland game hunting with my dog, reading the classics, and chasing around my sons.
