About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I'm Dr. Chuateco. I’m very blessed to have a job I love and look forward to partnering with you in your child's health and well-being.

Biography

I’m a California girl—born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I did my undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, followed by medical school at UC Davis. I got married during medical school, and we decided to move back to Southern California for my residency. My pediatric training was done at Loma Linda Children's Hospital, during which I had my first two sons. After my residency, I was fortunate enough to start working for Kaiser Permanente and had one more son.

About my practice

I like to think of my members as my children, too. There is no one who wants better for a child than their own parents. When I treat a child, I often ask myself, what would I do if he or she were mine? What can I do for these parents who must be so worried about their child? Sometimes, that may be to take an active assertive role and other times that may mean sitting back and closely observing them. Children never stop amazing me with how fast they learn, how they grow into their own personalities, and how, at heart, every child is an innocent little being of pure goodness. I feel very blessed to be a pediatrician working with wonderful colleagues at Kaiser Permanente.

How I thrive

I spend my off time with my three boys and my husband. Being the only girl in the house, I've been challenged by these boys to be active and sporty. I love to travel and show my boys how big the world is.
