About Me

Having spent the majority of my life in the midwest, I have been thrilled to find that the Pacific Northwest is home to some of the most welcoming communities that I've ever been a part of. Originally from Michigan, I received my undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan and will always be a Wolverine at heart. My husband and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest on a vacation, and are now happy to call Portland, Oregon home.

About my practice

My number one career goal has always been to provide outstanding care for my patients. As a Pathologist, I see my role as a diagnostician and consultant, and will always strive to make accurate and timely diagnoses. Although I enjoy all aspects of anatomic and clinical pathology, I have a particular interest and subspecialty expertise in the diagnosis of skin cancers and skin conditions, leukemia and lymphoma. I am excited to be a part of Kaiser Permanente and hope to contribute to the longstanding reputation of excellence.

How I thrive

I strive to achieve balance in all aspects of my life, and believe that it is essential to a happy existence. I am always trying to be the best physician, wife and mother that I can be, and try to remember that we are always learning how we can do better. Getting outside as a family and being active together; be it biking, hiking or just playing, is one of our favorite things to do.
