About Me
I am a clinical cardiologist, specializing in cardiovascular disease prevention and cardiac imaging.
Biography
I was born in the former Soviet Union, but have proudly called San Diego my home for over twenty years. My interests in science and medicine were ignited by the remarkable faculty of Patrick Henry High School. Because I loved living in Southern California, I elected to attend college at UC San Diego and medical school at UCLA. I completed my residency at the UCLA Medical Center and returned to UC San Diego for my cardiology fellowship. I am board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
About my practice
As a clinician, I am devoted to helping people feel better and live longer and healthier lives. I enjoy getting to know my patients and am grateful for the opportunities Kaiser Permanente gives me each day to help our members achieve health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. In my practice, I emphasize fitness and nutrition and work to educate my patients about the powers and limitations of modern therapies and techniques.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and stay active as a runner, swimmer, and soccer enthusiast
