About Me

Welcome to my Web page, and thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

I was born in Boston and then moved to the Kansas City area at age four. My family and I moved to San Diego when I was 12 years old. We lived in San Carlos, just a few miles from my current practice location here at Kaiser Permanente Vandever Medical Offices. Following my undergraduate studies at UCLA, I attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. I then completed a three-year residency in internal medicine and a one-year fellowship in geriatric medicine. Following my training, I worked in Connecticut as part of the National Health Service Corps program before returning to San Diego with my wife and children.

About my practice

I am here to help you when you are sick and here to help you stay healthy through preventive care. I consider myself to be your partner in health, and it helps me take better care of you when you are actively involved in taking care of yourself.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and following sports, strengthening my faith, and enjoying the views, sounds, and adventures in this beautiful part of the world and elsewhere.
