About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I am a Southern California native. I live in the South Bay, in the community in which I work. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we enjoy raising our three beautiful children. I began working at Kaiser Permanente’s South Bay Medical Center in 1998 as a staff pediatrician. As a part-time administrative physician, my current duties include serving as an assistant area medical director and as director of our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient services. I consider it a true privilege to be able to care for my patients as well as work with the many physicians and leaders of Kaiser Permanente in a continuing effort to provide high-quality care to our members.

About my practice

I feel truly honored that my patients have entrusted me with their care, and, in return, I strive to treat them as I would my own family. I am committed to listening to and addressing their questions and concerns. While I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, I recognize that there is more than one way to achieve and maintain good health. One of my jobs, therefore, is to help you find the way that works best for you.

How I thrive

Seeing my own children growing up and making their way into the world is immensely gratifying and helps keep me rejuvenated and balanced. To maintain my physical health, I also enjoy exercising I compete in a handful of sprint triathlons and/or running events each year.
