About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. My colleagues and patients make my job at Kaiser Permanente a great experience, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Biography
I moved to beautiful Southern California from Chicago after completing my residency training program. My husband is from the area, and what better excuse to move to paradise! My husband and I are both emergentologists for Kaiser Permanente. We have similar schedules, which allow us more time together to enjoy traveling, surfing, and taking care of our four cats.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. I enjoy not only utilizing my medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being an emergency medicine doctor allows people to share with me a vast array of emotional and medical concerns; it is a privilege to help you understand what concerns you, help you get the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with you and your family. I feel very honored when patients trust me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping a balance in life is very important to me. I surf as many days a week as my schedule allows--that has become my new passion! My husband and I are often playing tennis, cycling, or playing paddle ball at the beach. I've been learning to play the guitar, which I love. I'm also a runner, having completed four marathons. Staying active in mind and body is how I stay well!
