About Me

Welcome. Thank you for visiting my Web page.

Biography

I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and Atlanta, but have spent most of my adult life in the Northeast, mainly New York City where I went to medical school and did my residency. Ten years ago, I came to Los Angeles. I entered medicine in my late 20s after working as a voting rights consultant with the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department. I was planning on law school, but then realized I like people more than paperwork. I have never regretted making the switch to medicine. I feel very fortunate to get to do what I love every day. I am married and have 2 young sons.

About my practice

I am an obstetrics and gynecology hospitalist, which means I take care of patients in the hospital and do not have an office practice. I am committed to ensuring a safe labor experience for our patients. In addition, I see patients who come to the hospital with gynecological emergencies.

How I thrive

Hiking the Santa Monica Mountains and hanging out at the beach with my family are my favorite ways to reduce stress and get some exercise.
