About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a family physician and have worked at Clairemont Mesa Medical Offices for over 20 years. I did my residency with Kaiser Permanente. I’ve spent my career as a Kaiser Permanente physician, as I strongly believe in the need for high-quality health care.

Biography

I was born in South Africa and moved to California when I was a child. I grew up in Santa Monica. I attended UCLA and UC San Diego for college, the UCLA School of Public Health for graduate school, and USC Medical School for my medical degree. I live with my husband and children in San Diego.

About my practice

Over the years, my practice has grown quite large and includes multiple generations within families. I see adolescents I have known since they were babies and their grandparents who are in their 90s. I work a part-time schedule and am in the clinic at Clairemont Mesa every weekday morning. I try to see my own members whenever I can, but if I am not available, I’m comfortable knowing that my colleagues will take good care of them and keep me informed of their progress.

How I thrive

I believe in the health benefits of a well-rounded life. I am devoted to my extended family, have several pets, enjoy traveling, read widely, love to cook and eat well, and walk for exercise and pleasure.
