About Me

I am originally from Pittsburgh, and moved to Atlanta with my family during my sophomore year of high school. I was always curious about why people behave as they do, and believe this fueled my interest in clinical psychology.

About my practice

I believe in a collaborative approach to psychotherapy. My academic training is based on cognitive-behavioral principles, which remain an important aspect of my practice. As a practical person, I have also learned to borrow from other approaches and use whatever works, regardless of theoretical underpinnings. My practice is focused on treating adults and adolescents of at least 14 years of age. I am comfortable with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger problems, behavioral problems and relationship issues.

How I thrive

I am a firm believer in leading a healthy, balanced life. I am an outdoor enthusiast and stay physically active. I race bicycles and especially enjoy alpine skiing and hiking. Spending time with family and sharing these activities with them helps complete that balance.
