About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page and giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am a generalist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Biography

I am a Kaiser Permanente baby, delivered at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center by a wonderful Ob/Gyn who would later become one of my teachers during residency training. I completed my undergraduate education at Stanford University, then medical school and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UC San Diego. I then came back home to Los Angeles. I always envisioned myself practicing and caring for the diverse communities of Los Angeles.

About my practice

As a generalist Ob/Gyn, I take care of women at all stages of their life, from their adolescent years, later during their pregnancies and deliveries, through menopause, and thereafter. I value the relationships I build with my patients and their families over time and I consider it a privilege to be their doctor. In the exam room, you are the most important person. I try my best to listen to your concerns, be thorough in your history and exam, make an accurate assessment, and together come up with a plan that best works for you and is evidenced-based. My staff and I work together to make your visit as comfortable and productive as possible.

How I thrive

Prevention is key. I try my best to stay active by walking, dancing, and chasing my daughter. For keeping my mind and spirit healthy, I spend time with my family and friends, go to church, and participate in community outreach efforts. I also enjoy educating the public about women's health issues, and have appeared several television media outlets including Univision and Telemundo.
