About Me

I am from Dallas, Texas, and I came to live in Colorado for my medical training at the University of Colorado in Denver. I became a physician so that I could help people get well when they are ill. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing patients get better under our care. It is truly remarkable to see someone who is extremely sick come into the hospital get better with my help. It's what drives me to come to work every day.

About my practice

I chose hospital medicine so that I could treat a wide variety of illnesses and meet a wide range of people in doing so. My hospitalist group works together to provide excellent care to the Kaiser Permanente patients who are admitted to Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center. We communicate with each other and our patients’ outpatient providers to give the best care possible. I always strive to involve my patients and your families in your care and take your opinions about the best treatment for your illness into consideration. I am here to treat the whole patient. I want you to feel better when you leave the hospital than when you came in.

How I thrive

When I am outside of the hospital, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love to travel. I am always up for trying a new restaurant in town or catching the newest movie. I also like to be active – I dabble in CrossFit.
