About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am director of the Regional Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Region. I am the lead physician for a staff of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who care for the smallest newborns.

Biography

I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but have lived and worked in Southern California since 1981.

About my practice

The staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) care for sick newborn and premature infants, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How I thrive

The best advice I can give is to balance family life with work. Prioritize diet and exercise so that they are a normal part of your day, every day. A good sense of humor and maintaining humility are also important.
