About Me

I became a glaucoma specialist because I enjoy having a long-term relationship with my patients and working with them to maintain the best vision possible. I also love doing cataract surgery because it truly improves the quality of life for most patients. I did my residency and fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. I was on the faculty at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute until 2013 when I decided to move home to Colorado. I enjoy being back home close to my family. I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2019.

About my practice

The primary focus of my medical practice is glaucoma surgery for patients who are beginning to lose significant vision. The goal of glaucoma surgery is to help maintain useful vision. Another important part of my job is to help my patients maximize their vision when it has begun to impact their daily activities. I look forward to seeing my patients and enjoy learning about you. I work with you to make treatment plans that meet your needs and lifestyle. My goal is to provide the most appropriate care for my patients, so you aren’t spending extra time or money to get the care you deserve. Please note that a referral is required to schedule an appointment with me.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I spend my time with my children and 2 crazy dogs. I enjoy gardening and cooking.
