About Me
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself and share a little bit about my life. I feel it is important for a patient to trust and feel comfortable with their physician. I have been told by my patients that I am very detail-oriented and thorough. I consider medicine both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your health and podiatry needs.
Biography
I was born and raised in California, and I have been interested in medicine for as long as I can remember. I became interested in podiatry literally by accident. I was in a non-injury car accident and walked into a podiatry office to use the phone. I researched the profession and actually went to work in the back office for a podiatrist. Next thing I knew, I was in podiatry school. I loved the field then and I still do.
About my practice
As a physician I feel privileged that patients come to me with trust. I like my patients to have an understanding of their medical conditions and to be well-educated both about their conditions and their treatment plans. Treating people is definitely a team effort, and I enjoy being able to call on my colleagues in podiatry and other specialties. We are committed to the well-being of our patients.
How I thrive
Staying healthy is extremely important to me. I feel I am on the go all the time, and I love it. I am a full-time mom and a part-time physician. I get my exercise playing with and chasing my two children. It is true what they say about young ones having endless energy. My family is a very high priority for me, and our children are a true blessing. I adore my husband who is also in a very demanding profession that involves helping and treating people. Together we do family outings that our two children would enjoy, including Disneyland, the zoo, and walks in the park with our puppy. In my spare time, rare as it is, I volunteer in activities organized by my church, and with my children’s school and sports. I also support many local clubs by helping them raise funds. I feel I have managed a good balance between my family, work, and community.
