About Me
I grew up in Colorado and spent most of my free time enjoying the outdoors. I went to Colorado State University and received my Bachelor of Science in biology. I graduated and decided to coach alpine ski racing for the Winter Park Ski Team. I did this for two years until deciding to pursue a career as a physician assistant. I went to Touro College in New York City for my training and returned to Denver to start my career. I worked in orthopedics for five years and have worked in neurosurgery since then. My wife and I enjoy living in Golden.
About my practice
Presently, I work at Saint Joseph Hospital for Kaiser Permanente Colorado in the neurosurgery department. I spend most of my days helping take care of patients having surgery in the operating room and continue to help them throughout the hospital stay. Most of what I help treat are conditions of the spine and brain. My approach to patient care is simply to treat people like I would want to be treated.
How I thrive
I thrive by trying to eat well, live in the moment, ski, bike, fish and kite board when time allows.
