About Me

I am thrilled to be part of the Northwest Permanente pediatric team! I am originally from Northern California and have been a pediatrician since 2002. I attended medical school in Tel Aviv, Israel, and my pediatric residency was at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I spent a decade leading an outstanding group of pediatricians in a clinic in Marin County, California. I have a deep passion for the practice of pediatrics and for children's health and well-being. When I'm not in clinic I enjoy exploring, learning, and playing with my son and our dog. I love animals, nature, good food, music, and books. I feel privileged to team up with families and look forward to partnering with you to care for your child.

About my practice

I aim to practice excellent medicine every time I am in clinic. I do this through empathy and education. I always treat patients as I would want to be treated, and I take time to explain the diagnosis and care plan. I believe the best doctors know what they know but also respect their own limitations. If I don't think I have the best answer for you, I will find it by consulting a colleague or specialist. I enjoy each of the different ages and stages within a pediatrics practice but specifically tend to have a kinship with teens.

How I thrive

"Life is a journey, not a destination." I try to enjoy the journey every day as much as possible. I attempt to ignore the noise that surrounds us and to be present in the moment. I savor the outdoors, walking, hiking, gardening. I love swimming. I am fueled by connection and conversation. I treasure my relationships with friends and family. I often listen to podcasts to feed my insatiable desire to learn more.
