About Me
Hello, my name is Joyce Lee. Thank you for visiting my Web page.
Biography
I immigrated to Los Angeles from China when I was 10 years old. I attended UCLA for undergraduate education. I subsequently moved to Boston briefly to complete my medical training at Harvard Medical School. Like many Californians, I moved back quickly after my graduation. I completed my internal medicine residency with UCLA and pursued fellowship training in allergy and immunology at UCLA-affiliated VA program. I grew up in the Kaiser Permanente system as a member, so it was only natural that I returned to join Kaiser Permanente for medical practice.
About my practice
I enjoy working with both adults and children at the Allergy and Immunology Department at Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center. My clinical interests include allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, chronic sinusitis, food and drug allergies, angioedema, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, and immune-deficiency disorders. My goal is to focus on each member as an individual. I want to improve members’ quality of life and help each member to live well.
How I thrive
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family. I take pleasure in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and traveling to new countries.
