About Me

I received my undergraduate degree from Carleton College in Minnesota. I completed medical school at the University of New Mexico, and my residency in family medicine in Boise, Idaho. I am board certified. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked in a small community health clinic in rural Western Colorado.

About my practice

I practice full spectrum family medicine, and enjoy the variety of patients in my practice. It is rewarding for me because it allows me to develop meaningful relationships with my patients and families through generations. I enjoy managing both acute needs such as orthopedic injuries or illnesses, as well as the longer-term involvement with chronic medical issues.

How I thrive

I love being with my family. I enjoy cycling, running, swimming, and hiking. I have competed in triathlons, and I keep pursuing an elusive goal of getting faster as I age.
