About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. All my great colleagues and our members make me feel very fortunate to be a part of Kaiser Permanente. I hope we can work together to care for your health.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California. I discovered that I wanted to be a doctor in college, when my grandfather suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. My parents were out of town and my grandparents relied on me to help them during this difficult period. I saw how much it meant to them. I knew then that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.

About my practice

I work as a hospitalist. This means that I work with your personal physician to help take care of you if you are in the hospital. When people are sick, it is especially important to make sure they understand what is wrong, to know what tests are being done and why, and, to have support from family and friends. It is my job to help all these pieces come together and let you focus on your health.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I love to exercise with yoga, spinning, and hiking. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax or read a good novel.
