About Me
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page.
Biography
I grew up in Arlington, VA. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where I received my bachelor's degree in painting and printmaking. After graduating, I attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD where I met my husband who is an orthopedic sports physician at Kaiser Permanente. I completed my residency in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. I am passionate about caring for underserved communities and have done so in the United States and internationally. One of the great joys in my life is the satisfaction that I get helping patients’ live healthier and happier lives.
About my practice
I started my internal medicine practice at Kaiser Permanente in 2015. I care for members ages 18 and older, and have a special interest in Women’s Health. I am a believer in measured and appropriate medical testing and treatment. I strive to support your healthy living habits, help you to overcome unhealthy habits, and care for you when you are sick. I support preventive care, including pap smears, vaccines, mammograms, colonoscopies, and screening for diabetes and hyperlipidemia.
How I thrive
My life is centered on my family. Together we enjoy church activities, hiking, outdoor activities, and traveling. When I find time to relax I enjoy reading a book, listening to music, and cooking.
