About Me

I grew up in Northern California and did my orthopedic residency at Stanford University Hospital. I practiced general orthopedics in La Grande, Oregon for 18 years and helped raise three great kids. I then went to Boise, Idaho and did a Total Hip and Knee Fellowship and then came to work here at Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

My practice here at Kaiser Permanente is hip and knee replacements. I perform initial and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. This surgery is for patients with worn out hips and knees who have failed conservative treatment. These are great procedures that allow people to keep active.

How I thrive

I love to spend time with my family and our Brittany dogs. My sports / hobby passion is windsurfing which I am fortunate to have access to some of the best windsurfing in the world, the Gorge!
