About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm very excited to meet the families of Antelope Valley, and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work at Kaiser Permanente. I hope to utilize my over 17 years of experience as a board certified pediatrician to improve the health of the children in our community.

Having grown up in the Chicago suburbs, I am an avid Chicago sports fan, and I admit I do miss the famous Chicago deep-dish pan pizza, but I don't miss the frigid arctic winters! I knew early on that medicine was my calling. I loved problem solving, helping people, being creative and innovative, and the precision found in all sciences. I have a beautiful wife and daughter, and we do everything together.

About my practice

My philosophy in practicing pediatrics is to educate, educate, educate! The more I educate parents, grandparents, adolescents, and children, the healthier they all become. It empowers them to make better decisions and implement lifestyle changes that improve their lives and promote better health for our entire community.

How I thrive

I strive to practice what I preach (exercising and eating healthy) to our members. I am frequently at the gym working out. Traveling with my family provides us opportunities to relax, explore, and learn together. The most relaxing activity I do is home gardening. It is very peaceful and at the same time serves as a great source of exercise. However, it all takes a back seat when the Chicago Bears or Blackhawks are on TV!
