About Me
Hello, my name is Joyce Wei (pronounced Way), and I am an optometrist at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. I look forward to getting to know you and taking care of your vision needs.
Biography
I was born and raised in Southern California and am originally from the San Gabriel Valley. I grew up wanting to help others. I studied biochemistry at UCLA, where I developed an interest in eye care. After graduating, I decided to attend optometry school in Boston. Though I enjoyed my time in Boston, I am glad to be back home practicing in Southern California.
About my practice
I practice primary care optometry with a special interest in low vision rehabilitation. After optometry school, I completed a low vision residency at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Culver City, where I gained experience helping patients with impaired vision maximize their vision and remain independent. I enjoy helping members see their best and maintain healthy eyes.
How I thrive
The company of my friends and family allows me to live well. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, foods, and cultures.
