About Me

I am originally from New Mexico. I completed my bachelor’s degree in biology at Washington University in St. Louis before returning to New Mexico to attend the University of New Mexico for medical school. I completed my internal medicine residency in the primary care track at the University of Colorado.

About my practice

I chose to become a primary care physician because I enjoy developing long-term relationships with my patients. I believe the physician-patient relationship should be a partnership. I strive to educate my patients, so they can make informed decisions about their health. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care. My primary interests are disease prevention and the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity.

How I thrive

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and friends. To relax, I enjoy going to the gym, watching a good TV show or exploring beautiful Colorado.
