About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian. My training has taken me across the United States and overseas to Europe, but my wife and I were happy to return to Southern California, where we have lived again since 1990. We have three children who manage to occupy most of our free time.

About my practice

I am one of approximately 500 members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) in the Unites States. This means I have unique fellowship training and certification that qualifies me to care for problems related to the eyelids and eyebrows, tear ducts, and eye sockets. Our department has been a referral center for the Southern California Kaiser Permanente medical centers since 1990. This means we have a wealth of experience, and can provide you with the most up-to-date techniques for managing these types of problems.

How I thrive

I enjoy bicycle riding and have toured with my bike throughout California and Washington state, and also through parts of Europe. As a family, we enjoy travel and snow skiing. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to UCLA games, I coach my daughter's soccer teams, and I try to remain active with my local bicycle club.
