About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m very pleased to be a part of Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I’ve lived in Orange County since 1999 but been in the Southern California area since 1984. I earned my bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology at Loma Linda University. I also went to medical school there. I did my residency in family medicine at Riverside County Regional Medical Center. I owned my own private practice for 7 years before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2006. I have been so impressed with the care that Kaiser Permanente provides to its members that I recommend it to everyone I know! I’m married and have 2 adult children.

About my practice

I believe that the practice of medicine is a fusion of art and science. There are so many factors that affect our health, including diet, exercise, genetics, and attitude. I try to take all those factors into consideration when treating people. I see members of all ages, from babies to seniors.

How I thrive

Whole-body health is important to me. I have been a vegetarian my entire life. I exercise daily. I love games of all kinds: strategy games, party games, sports, and puzzles (jigsaw, crossword, Sudoku, you name it). I also enjoy arts and crafts projects, especially scrapbooking and other paper crafts. I like to relax by spending time with my family, walking on the beach, or going to the spa for a massage.
