About Me

Hi there! Welcome to my Web page! My focus is on keeping you well. Being a Kaiser Permanente physician gives me the support to help you help yourself. I value building strong relationships with my members.

Biography

I was born and raised in Indiana. I studied chemistry at Indiana University. My love of warm weather took me first to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Later I moved to Southern California and attended medical school at Western University. I did my residency in family medicine at UC Irvine where I served as chief resident in my final year. I am now happy to call Long Beach home where I live with my husband and my son.

About my practice

Medicine has always been intriguing to me. My father is a veterinarian and growing up I saw the work he was doing was really helping people and their pets. I was sold on a career in medicine after I first studied human anatomy and physiology. I knew it would be the perfect combination of science, healing, and personal interaction.

How I thrive

I just try to keep it simple. Life isn't always easy, but when it is I take advantage. In my free time I go hiking with friends and bike at the beach. I love food so much that I married a chef! We enjoy cooking at home and trying new foods and restaurants.
