About Me

My experiences in primary care and the hospital have been a perfect bridge for me to now work in behavioral health. I attended the University of Denver's School of Social Work in 1993 and have lived here ever since.

About my practice

Populations: Adult, Child, Family, Group, Seniors, Teens. Specialties: ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders, OCD, Parenting, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Trauma, and other chronic conditions. Interventions: CBT, DBT, EMDR. I utilize EMDR in every area of therapy that I can to best support the people I work with and utilize DBT and CBT when needed. My approach is to meet the person where they are. I do my best to create a nonjudgmental and kind environment for people to be able to share their life's challenges. I realize it is difficult to be open to a stranger about the more difficult things in our lives and I work to create that space for people. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients' care. My goal is to provide the most appropriate care for my patients, so they aren't spending extra time or money to get the care they deserve.

How I thrive

I enjoy fishing, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
