About Me

Hello there! I'm glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I hope this page will help you learn a little bit about me and make you feel more comfortable seeing me as a physician.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California all my life, knowing since the 6th grade that I wanted to become an emergency medicine physician. I attended Loma Linda University for medical school and completed my emergency medicine residency training at Akron General Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. I returned back to sunny Southern California and joined the wonderful group that is Kaiser Permanente Fontana/Ontario Emergency Medicine as a board-certified emergency medicine physician.

About my practice

Unfortunately, as a practitioner of emergency medicine, I meet all my patients during times of pain, stress, and fear as they face what's before them. That's why I believe that one's health is a combination of many aspects. While the physical manifestation is the obvious concern, there are many more challenges that include emotional, social, psychological, and even spiritual aspects. To address fewer than all aspects would be a disservice to members and their families. I pride myself in my goal of collectively addressing all aspects of an illness with you and eventually, "make Man whole."

How I thrive

As a "Jack of all trades," I enjoy many hobbies. The weight room is where I find my solace away from the chaos of everyday life. I enjoy most sports, including basketball, football, wrestling, golf, and tennis, but my true love is and will always be snowboarding. I also enjoy video games, music/guitar, and all sorts of TV shows/movies. Now, there are some people who "eat to live," but for me, I definitely "live to eat."
