About Me

Hi! Welcome to my Web page, and thank you for visiting! I am happy to be at Kaiser Permanente. We have many amazing, caring people working hard to serve our members' needs. Our team approach to health care is very meaningful to me, and I am proud that we have made great strides in keeping our members connected to their health with online and mobile apps available to them. And we are fortunate to have two new Kaiser Permanente medical centers in Fontana and Ontario (where my son was born).

Biography

I have lived in Southern California nearly all my life. I am of Chinese-Cantonese heritage, but I speak more Spanish than Chinese! I went to college and medical school at UCLA. (Go Bruins!) I am the first physician in my family, and I enjoy how my job daily involves helping people in various ways and working with great colleagues and staff. I have a wife and son, and we love our local church, where we are active in ministries.

About my practice

It has been a privilege and a pleasure to be here at Kaiser Permanante Ontario Vineyard Medical Offices from day one, working in the family medicine and sports medicine departments. I have family medicine clinics (where I see patients of all ages) three days a week and musculoskeletal medicine/sports medicine consult clinics two days a week. I have also enjoyed serving as the team physician for nearby Colony High School (Go Titans!). One day a week, usually Thursdays, I can be found at the Kaiser Permanente clinic on the campus of California Steel Incorporated in Fontana . We strive to keep our patients' best interests as the priority and to treat them as we would like to be treated. This is demonstrated in the kind, efficient, and hardworking way we serve.

How I thrive

I am a member of a local gym and enjoy running, volleyball, and tennis - especially because I get to do these things with my family! We need to exercise because we also like eating and trying different foods. We also enjoy reading (and sleeping!) and spending time with extended family. Particularly central to our life together is the daily study of and devotion to our faith. I am pursuing a master's degree in biblical counseling as well.
