About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Web page. My friends and family call me Gim. Since 2012, I have practiced in Kaiser Permanente’s pediatric critical care units both at the Los Angeles Medical Center and Downey.

Biography

I am originally from Penang, Malaysia, and was raised in Singapore. I came to the United States for higher education and training. I have worked in various programs at Miami Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

About my practice

The pediatric critical care team is a dynamic group of healthcare providers working together to ensure a speedy recovery when your child is ill. We are persistent and thorough down to the finest detail. Why? Because your child is as precious as our own. We understand that family is a powerful healing tool, and involve families in their child’s care. The promise of a healthy future for our patients and their families keeps us inspired.

How I thrive

My interests outside of medicine revolve around outdoor recreation from hot air balloons to white water rafting to paragliding. I am contemplating a cross-country motorcycle trip. To stay fit, I like to go to the gym. Family is extremely important to me. I especially enjoy spending time with my foster kids.
