Plus, as a Kaiser Permanente member, you have access to discounted services, programs, and resources. Whether you are new to Kaiser Permanente or have been a member for years, check out these incredible benefits available to you to support your health and well-being.

One Pass® Fitness Program [See footnote 1]

One Pass allows you access to gyms, workout classes, online workouts, tools for brain health, and social connection events.

How to get started with the One Pass program

Once you're a Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan member, follow these steps: 

  1. Visit youronepass.com.
  2. Click "Get started" to register. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Health Plan Member ID.
  3. Once you're registered, you'll receive a member code. Be sure to write down your code and keep it handy. You will need to enter it each time you register for a new fitness location or other One Pass service.
  4. Start searching for gyms by clicking on the "Find a gym" page. 

You may also call One Pass toll free at 1-877-614-0618 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., to receive your member code.

BOLD – Fitness from your home

If you have access to One Pass, you also have access to BOLD. Through the BOLD app, you’ll receive a customized, ongoing exercise program you can do from the comfort of your home.

BOLD is specifically designed for older adults to build strength, reduce pain, improve balance, help prevent falls, and support bladder health. These clinically backed programs are tailored to your interests and health needs, and include both on-demand and live exercise classes.

We cover routine eye exams (eye refraction exams) to determine your needs for vision correction and to provide a prescription for eyeglass lenses or contact lenses. For information about vision benefits (including limitations and exclusions) covered under your Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage (HMO-POS) individual plan, please refer to your Evidence of Coverage benefit chart under “Vision Care.”

You may use your vision benefit at any participating network providers. For a list of providers, call Member Services at 1-877-221-8221 (TTY 711), 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., or visit kp2020.org.

Eyewear allowance (Advantage Plus)

Individual Medicare health plan members can add Advantage Plus to get an eyewear allowance to use toward the purchase of prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses once every 24 months from a plan optical facility, such as Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente. A prescription is required.

Your allowance can be used to pay for the following items:

  • Eyeglass lenses when a network provider puts lenses into a frame.
  • Eyeglass frames when a network provider puts two lenses (at least one of which must have refractive value) into the frame.
  • Contact lenses

Your Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage plan covers routine hearing exams (one per calendar year) and diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations to determine if you need medical treatment. Hearing aid benefit (Advantage Plus)

Hearing aid coverage is available to Medicare individual health plan members as part of our optional Advantage Plus package. Kaiser Permanente or Kaiser Permanente–designated doctors or audiologists provide hearing care products and services for Kaiser Permanente members.

Specialty wellness services

Kaiser Permanente members have access to Optum’s affinity musculoskeletal program — no signup required. Enjoy 20% off chiropractic, acupuncture, and therapeutic massage services at participating providers. Select the “Kaiser Permanente CAM Discount Program” option to locate participating providers at the following link Provider Directory - Provider Portal.

Travel with peace of mind knowing that Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage (HMO-POS) plans include Medicare Explorer, [See footnote 2] a $1,200 annual allowance for out-of-area routine and continuing care.
