Kaiser Permanente is experiencing a labor strike from the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals (OFNHP).

Since May, we’ve been negotiating in good faith with the Alliance of Health Care Unions, including OFNHP, on a new national agreement that supports our employees, maintains our status as a best place to work, and ensures affordable care for our members.

Some of the unions that make up the Alliance are conducting a strike that began on October 14 and is scheduled to end on October 19.

If you have an appointment scheduled during the strike, please don't cancel or reschedule it. We’re contacting members in advance if their appointments or services need to be rescheduled.

Our hospitals, medical and dental offices, and pharmacies remain open, and you can rely on us for the high-quality care you deserve. We’ve put strong plans in place to ensure your care continues without interruption.

Your care and well-being remain central to everything we do. Thank you for understanding, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Facility impacts

Our hospitals, medical and dental offices, and pharmacies remain open, and we’re here to provide the care you need.
