About this program

This is an introductory, one-hour virtual group class for teens 12+ taught by a pediatric sleep physician specialist as well as pediatric psychologist focusing on behavioral sleep disturbances such as insomnia. The class will review the basics of sleep, the impact of suboptimal sleep on health, discuss behavioral and environmental factors that can negatively affect our sleep, and discuss strategies to improve the ability of teenagers to fall and stay asleep. Additionally, we will review strategies to “quiet the mind” at bedtime, including a guided imagery exercise. This class is for teens to attend with a parent/guardian. Classes are offered once a month. This class is offered online.
