Clinical Health Educator
Health Educators provide individual support and education for parents of babies and children ages 4 months- 5 years on common concerns including sleep and feeding (4 months-5 years) and toilet training (18 months-5 years).
Sessions: Telephone appointments and video visits
Baby on the Move
(1-session) – An online class designed for parents of babies 9-10 months and older. This class is led by a pediatrician. Topics discussed include developmental information, safety issues, and nutrition.
Challenging Behaviors
(2-sessions) – A 2-session group that provides parents, with children ages 4-12 years old, with strategies and interventions to improve difficult behaviors at home. This online class is based on Parent Management and Cognitive Behavioral techniques.
Feeding Your Baby
(1-session) – Are you thinking of starting solids with your little one? Is your baby already eating and you have some questions? This virtual class will review types of foods and amounts to offer babies, in addition to other helpful feeding information. The class is for parents with babies ages 5 – 11 months.
Feeding Your Toddler
(1-session) – Feeding toddlers is fun, messy, and sometimes frustrating. Come join this virtual class to receive information on the how-to’s of feeding little hungry, or not-so-hungry, eaters. The class is for parents with children ages 1 – 4 years old.
Emotional Well-Being in Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Group Online
Pregnancy and postpartum can bring big changes and new challenges which can lead to anxiety and depression. Join our group of new and soon to be moms to learn from each other how to stay emotionally healthy as we transition into this new and important role. This group is open to women in their last trimester or with babies in their first year of life. The group is led by a clinical social worker and offers support, education, and coping skills to manage stress. Infants are welcome.
